Sneaky Sunday

It was very productive in the craft room a few weeks ago so I thought it would be a great idea to share a sneak peek with you on Sundays for the month of December.  I'd love for it to be a permanent weekly thing but I can't promise that I will have something to show after the new year when my schedule gets crazy.

I have been busy designing layouts, taking photos, typing up directions and kitting.  I now have FIVE new kits this month.  They are Thankful (three 2-pagers), Beach Bums (two 2-pagers), Family Fun (two 2-pagers), Spring has Sprung (one 2-pager) and Best of Friends (three 2-pagers).  Come by my booth and check them out (sneak peeks on my facebook page as well – coming soon).  Limited quantities and once I sell out, I won’t be making more.

Spotlight: Wink of Stella Brush Pen

Love love love the Wink of Stella pens and brushes...a big THANK YOU to the girls that introduced me to it (you know who you are).  Here is a great youtube video showing you how to get started with the brushes plus a small sampling of what it can do.  Want to learn more?  I will be offering a FREE Make-n-Take using these pens and brushes in the coming months.

It's CROP season!!!

5 crops in a row with a week off for Veteran's Day weekend.  2 down, 3 more to go.  I'll do a little recap of it here...and it's no wonder I barely make it over here to my blog these days.

The first of five was a Scrap-A-Way Retreats in Plymouth, MA.  The hotel was beautifully situated near the waterfront and there were even great restaurants and shops right across the parking lot.  The crop itself was great and I'm bummed I missed out on the Halloween festivities Friday night...life definitely gets in the way of my way of scrapping. 

Next up, Cool Crops in Portland ME.  It's always a great time at this crop and especially when it's in Portland.  I wonder if it has something to do with the bar 3 doors down and it being Halloween AND Karaoke night on saturdays.   Dressing up is always fun...check out the ladies celebrating Halloween Cool Crops style!

June Just Scrappin' was a BLAST!!!

Looks like when things get busy around here, the first thing to go is this blog.  Especially when it's not crop season.  Jean and I hosted our first summer crop and it went off without a hitch.  So awesome when that happens...makes it worth the planning, packing and negotiating.  We didn't get the turn out we hoped for but those that did turn out were a great group of ladies.


The best part of the weekend was getting to spend an entire weekend with a WONDERFUL group of ladies.  THANK YOU...we could not have done this without you!!!  Second best had to be the food especially the outdoor BBQ bash...great food and dinner outside.  When was the last time you got to sit outside for a meal at a crop?

The crop ran so smoothly, I got 12 one pagers and 3 two pagers done for my personal books!  It's a record for me.  If you were at the crop, how many pages did you get done?  Leave me a note in the comments.

Serenity Layout Kit

Procrastination was the word of the day for yesterday.  I had a mile-long to-do list and usually, I am very good at keeping to my list and crossing things off.  Yesterday, these papers were calling my name and when inspiration struck, I couldn't say no.  I had the right photos and the layouts just kept rolling out.  This kit using Bo Bunny's Serenity line will have ONE 2-page layout and TWO 1-page layouts.

April Scrappy News!

Good Morning!

Another month, another newsletter…the weeks sure go by fast when scrapbooking season is in full swing.  April is another month where I have back to back to back events.  Today, I am gearing up for that by prepping kits, planning freezer meals, sorting through orders, and making lists...all this as soon as I get this newsletter out of my inbox. 

First off, I’d like to tell you about a weekend crop that Jean of The Crop Shop and I put together twice a year.  Our first one is coming up fast, June 21 – 23.  We still have seats available and would love to have you join us.  The crop is $295 for double occupancy at the Doubletree in Westborough, MA.  The crop fee includes your hotel room, meals (sat breakfast, sat dinner, sun brunch), goodie bag, raffles, free class and your own 6ft table.  Won’t you join us?  See attached for registration info.

We also offer all day crops in the Charlton, MA area.  Upcoming dates are April 20 and May 11.  Cost is $40 and you get 4ft of table space, lunch, dinner, free Make-n-Take and other goodies.  Registration info is attached.

I’ve been busy adding new layout kits to the store…if you haven’t seen them yet, stop by and check them out.  I design all of the layouts and kit them with the help of my boys.  We have recently added baseball, happy little moments, you are loved, snow day, and shooting hoops 2-page layouts.  New to the inventory are TWO 2-page layouts…Glamour Girl, Fun Day, Ordinary Day, Away We Go and Hockey.  It has been fun putting them together and sharing them with you.  Sneak peeks are always available on my Time2Scrap Facebook page.

With so much to do, I’m going to keep this short and sweet.  I will end this with a list of my upcoming events.

March Scrappy News

Good Monday Morning!!!  (It was still morning when I started typing this newsletter)

How are you faring this beautiful and chilly morning?  I hope all is well in your world and that you’re enjoying the sunshine.  Spring is around the corner, has to be!  I am gearing up for some back to back weekends of work…I have some great classes planned, a whole slew of new layout kits using fabulous My Mind’s Eye lines ready to roll and more up my sleeve.  Hopefully, I can squeeze out some extra hours to work on more kits I have lined-up, I’m not holding my breath though.

Layout Kits

My layout kits are all designed by yours truly, agonizing for hours and hours (just kidding), to save you hours of agonizing.  I am introducing 3 kits this month – all using My Mind’s Eye line and all are TWO 2-pagers per kit.  Come by my booth and check them out (sneak peeks on my facebook page as well).  Limited quantities and once I sell out, I won’t be making more. 

Classes

Glimmer Mist 101 was a hit at both Scrap-a-Way and Cool Crops last month.  Glimmer Mist 101 - learn several different ways for coloring backgrounds and embellishments with spray inks.  Each participant will receive a bottle of glimmer mist of their choice plus 20% off products used in class. Class fee is $8.  I will be offering this class at the remainder of my events for this scrapbook season.

Along with the Glimmer Mist class, I will also be offering a layout class.  Mamarazzi Layout class - we will be learning how to use 6x6 paper papers to scrap 12x12 layouts. You will make a ONE and a TWO page layout. Class fee is $10.   I have limited quantities of these products and will be offering this class at Cool Crops Portsmouth 1 and Scrap-A-Way Mystic…sign up by email to guarantee your spot.

Just Scrappin’ All Day Crop in Charlton, MA

Upcoming dates are March 23, April 20 and May 11.  We are at the Prindle Pond Conference Center in Charlton, MA.  Crop fee is $40 and the crop runs from 9am to 9pm. Included in the fee are goodies, prizes, make-n-take (sometimes a project, other times a 2 page layout), lunch and dinner.  Email me if you’re interested and your payment reserves your seat. 

Just Scrappin’ Weekend in Westboro
