New season, new intentions. I'm back on the blog and here to post about a September Special. 

I am in love with the new Distress Oxides ink pads and had every intention of designing a new card class with them over the summer...and with all good intentions, life got in the way :(

I may not have any samples to show you (yet) but I hope to in the next 2-3 weeks. Meanwhile, you can stock up on the inks...

I don't know about you but I am so ready for some warmer weather. Plus I just plugged in about a hundred baseball games into our calendar. With 2 boys on 3 teams, we will be spending a good chunk of our time at the ball field.     Backorders and pre-orders are still filtering in and there are some really neat new products in stock.  Make sure you stop by the booth to check them out. Graphic 45, Carta Bella, Echo Park, Imaginisce and even some of the themed Project Life cards. These themed cards are great even for non-Project Life layouts. I've got some ideas up my sleeve and can't wait to play with them. Maybe, just maybe sometime this week in between running a school-wide fundraiser, practices, the daily grind and work ;)      If not, I already have some scrapbooking time scheduled...two Just Scrappin' weekends. I may be running these crops but somehow I manage to get a bunch of pages done while I'm there. Love the hotel, love the girls...so looking forward to it. Dates are May 30 - June 2 and Sept 26-28 at the Doubletree in Westboro MA. More information on the crop can be found HERE and the registration forms HERE.      Meanwhile, I have been stocking up on papers and products to make into kits...2 boxes full as a matter of fact...and have been slowly working my way through them. My goal is to get a kit done, designed and kitted, per week. Currently, I have 2 new kits available and ready to go - Disney themed kit (6 pages $22.50) and a Fishing kit (2 pages $10). April Scrappy News!

Good Morning!

Another month, another newsletter…the weeks sure go by fast when scrapbooking season is in full swing.  April is another month where I have back to back to back events.  Today, I am gearing up for that by prepping kits, planning freezer meals, sorting through orders, and making lists...all this as soon as I get this newsletter out of my inbox. 

First off, I’d like to tell you about a weekend crop that Jean of The Crop Shop and I put together twice a year.  Our first one is coming up fast, June 21 – 23.  We still have seats available and would love to have you join us.  The crop is $295 for double occupancy at the Doubletree in Westborough, MA.  The crop fee includes your hotel room, meals (sat breakfast, sat dinner, sun brunch), goodie bag, raffles, free class and your own 6ft table.  Won’t you join us?  See attached for registration info.

We also offer all day crops in the Charlton, MA area.  Upcoming dates are April 20 and May 11.  Cost is $40 and you get 4ft of table space, lunch, dinner, free Make-n-Take and other goodies.  Registration info is attached.

I’ve been busy adding new layout kits to the store…if you haven’t seen them yet, stop by and check them out.  I design all of the layouts and kit them with the help of my boys.  We have recently added baseball, happy little moments, you are loved, snow day, and shooting hoops 2-page layouts.  New to the inventory are TWO 2-page layouts…Glamour Girl, Fun Day, Ordinary Day, Away We Go and Hockey.  It has been fun putting them together and sharing them with you.  Sneak peeks are always available on my Time2Scrap Facebook page.

With so much to do, I’m going to keep this short and sweet.  I will end this with a list of my upcoming events.

March Scrappy News

Good Monday Morning!!!  (It was still morning when I started typing this newsletter)

How are you faring this beautiful and chilly morning?  I hope all is well in your world and that you’re enjoying the sunshine.  Spring is around the corner, has to be!  I am gearing up for some back to back weekends of work…I have some great classes planned, a whole slew of new layout kits using fabulous My Mind’s Eye lines ready to roll and more up my sleeve.  Hopefully, I can squeeze out some extra hours to work on more kits I have lined-up, I’m not holding my breath though.

Layout Kits

My layout kits are all designed by yours truly, agonizing for hours and hours (just kidding), to save you hours of agonizing.  I am introducing 3 kits this month – all using My Mind’s Eye line and all are TWO 2-pagers per kit.  Come by my booth and check them out (sneak peeks on my facebook page as well).  Limited quantities and once I sell out, I won’t be making more. 

Classes

Glimmer Mist 101 was a hit at both Scrap-a-Way and Cool Crops last month.  Glimmer Mist 101 - learn several different ways for coloring backgrounds and embellishments with spray inks.  Each participant will receive a bottle of glimmer mist of their choice plus 20% off products used in class. Class fee is $8.  I will be offering this class at the remainder of my events for this scrapbook season.

Along with the Glimmer Mist class, I will also be offering a layout class.  Mamarazzi Layout class - we will be learning how to use 6x6 paper papers to scrap 12x12 layouts. You will make a ONE and a TWO page layout. Class fee is $10.   I have limited quantities of these products and will be offering this class at Cool Crops Portsmouth 1 and Scrap-A-Way Mystic…sign up by email to guarantee your spot.

Just Scrappin’ All Day Crop in Charlton, MA

Upcoming dates are March 23, April 20 and May 11.  We are at the Prindle Pond Conference Center in Charlton, MA.  Crop fee is $40 and the crop runs from 9am to 9pm. Bazzill Bulk Buy

Last but not least,  I am running yet another Bazzill Bulk Buy.  I’ve said it before, one cannot have too many sheets of Bazzill cardstock laying around.  This time, I matched colors to the Spring 2013 Pantone color choices.  If you’re not familiar with my Bazzill Bulk Buy, it’s an opportunity to purchase Bazzill cardstock at a discounted price.  I run this buy quarterly and $28 buys you 60 sheets of Bazzill.  More details and colors on HERE.  Papers will be in for delivery at Just Scrappin’ 3/23 crop, Cool Crops Seekonk and Scrap-a-way Seekonk.

January Scrappy News

First crop of 2013 is over and done with…waving at my friends from Scrap-A-Way Mystic…and I am raring to go.  It’s still insanely busy here at Hiraldo Home Base and I have no clue why.  There just doesn’t seem to be enough hours in the day.  Maybe it’s the cooking daily or the part-time gig I picked up or the knitting I taught myself or pinterest or the kids’ extracurricular activities.  I don’t know what the culprit is but every minute of every day is occupied.  Did you like how I sneaked pinterest in there?  It definitely is a time suck but I love the visual bookmarking, so much easier to remember why I bookmarked that link.

 

Another time suck goes to ohh-ing and ahh-ing over the goodies that just came out at Winter CHA…my faves (faves of faves) are on my Scrappy Products I Love pinterest board.  In fact, I spent a good chunk of time this morning as well as half the weekend at Mystic shopping for and re-stocking  the store.  Boxes have started arriving and everything looks so yummy!!!  I need to get a few more things crossed off my to-do list before I can play…I’ll share when I do. 

 

One more thing that I shopped for this morning was the BAZZILL BULK BUY.  If you’re not familiar with it, it’s an opportunity to purchase Bazzill cardstock at a discounted price.  I run this buy quarterly and $26 buys you 60 sheets of Bazzill.  More details and colors on HERE.

I have also been working on my Time2Scrap Layout kits.  Shopping and designing layouts are the fun aspects of my job.  I have 2 new kits in stock…Baseball All Star and Birthday Memories.  There are a few more in line, I just need to get the non-fun aspect of my job over with, accounting.  Stay posted, I am planning to get a few more out (teen girl, travel, school, everyday moments…just to name a few) before my next event in February.
