Weekend Wrap-up

I had the pleasure of spending my birthday weekend doing what I love...running a scrapbooking weekend and with lots and lots of my fave peeps. There was some shenanigans of course...we stole Jean's bowls for hats while she was trying to set up her booth for a photo op lol

And since it was my birthday weekend, we had to have cupcakes for our dessert social. It couldn't be just any cupcakes...we had to have mini cocktail cupcakes - margarita, pina colada and mudslide to be exact!

Here is a view of 1/2 the room. We had 71 total in the room for the entire weekend. And yes that You Go Girl canvas class is still a big hit.

 When April is in attendance, Just Scrappin' isn't Just Scrappin' if there isn't a late night dance party :)

Weekend Wrap-up

It is always such a pleasure to get to spend the weekend with a group of scrapbookers. This past weekend had to be one of our best Just Scrappin' weekends yet. Despite the little bumps we had with banquet, Elks men, and lost students...the room had the most incredible energy and I think I speak for all who attended, we had a wonderful weekend. 

The food was delicious...my opinion and comments from the girls. So glad all of you enjoyed my choices and I'm looking forward to Ben & Jerry's next time we're there ;)

The most deserving scrapper friend of ours won the free weekend drawing...what's it going to be Kim...September or February...make it both?

The best part is we have made reservations to go back to this Sheraton Hartford South next June...to be exact, the first weekend in June. Save the date!!!

Sneaky Sunday

Just Scrappin' Milford is just days away. Here is a sneak peek of our FREE Make n Take...it's a 2 page layout showcasing Echo Park's gorgeous Hello Winter line. Love all the patterns and just perfect embellishments. This layout takes one 3"x3", one 4"x4" and four 4"x6" photos.

Weekend Wrap-up

Kicked off the 2014-2015 season with a Just Scrappin' Weekend in Westboro. As always, there was wonderful delicious food...

 This year there was surprise fire sale that got everyone up and moving...

 And of course the usual scrappin' shenanigans to keep us on our toes

Entertainment for the weekend was the traditional Indian wedding being held in the ballroom next to us...the ladies all lined the hallway to watch the groom ride up on his horse and the bride being carried in on a paladin.

A wonderful weekend spent with the best group of ladies evah! Even in one kid ended up in the ER Friday night and another sliced open his knee during a puppy escape...it's never boring around here ;)

Coming up for air

I thought when the crop season ended, I would have a little more breathing room. Instead it's been taken up by baseball, end of year celebrations (I have 6th and 8th graders moving up) and today, worrying about how my kids will get home from school due to the President's visit to our city this afternoon. Wrapped up crop season with our SOLD OUT Just Scrappin' in Westboro crop the previous weekend.

The weekend went as planned and a great time was had by all.  The food was delicious and yummy as always!!!

Class for the FREE Make n Take was great except for a few known troublemakers, who shall not be named, causing all kinds of ruckus.

Scrappers from near and far (as far away as Long Island) joined us for the weekend.

And our most supportive customer/friend deservingly won the weekend's grand prize...a FREE future weekend with us!!!

You missed it if you weren't there for the weekend...I'll just say there were Burpee demos, line dancing, lap dancing and a whole lot other fun going on. Won't you join us for our next event? June 26-28...same deal, same location...email me for more info.

Jean and I are pleased to announce that our May/June weekend has sold out! Whoo hoo! We are looking forward to the weekend and seeing everyone who signed up! We will take names on a waiting list in case of last minute cancellations.

We DO have plenty of space available at our September weekend (September 26-28) and Jean is taking deposits/payments for that weekend now as well, so if you want to join us, please let us know!

Those of you that have been anxiously waiting for this, Jean and I are happy to announce that we are now accepting commuters for our May/June weekend! Commuter rate is $195, includes everything except the hotel room. 

We also still have spots for those who want to come and stay for the weekend, but we are about 2/3rds of the way full, so please send me your deposit to reserve your seat!

Getting back to it

Did you notice I was gone?  We hosted our very first Just Scrappin' Weekend in Westboro and had a wonderful time.  Thanks for making it a great weekend ladies...you know who you are!  As for having another one, you bet we will.  Here is a peek into our weekend...yummy treats...

Jean and I had our last all-day crop on Saturday before taking the summer off.  Fall crop dates have been scheduled for...October 8th, November 12th and December 10th...get them on your calendar :)

Just Scrappin' in Sturbridge is an all day crops running from 9:00am – 9:00pm

Your $40 includes:
